On 21 November The Embassy organised the first Cleveringa lecture in Bratislava, in cooperation with Comenius University. Professor Jaap de Zwaan spoke about the need for a solid legal framework that matches the EU's current need, and the problems encountered in approving such a legal framework. His lecture was followed by an interesting debate with the public. Late November 2009 the Embassy will organise the second Cleveringa lecture in Bratislava.
