Until November 28th the visitors of Primacialny palac in Bratislava could see the exhibition of the documentary photographs called In Afghanistan. It was made by the Dutch phofographer Hans Stakelbeek, who travelled through Afghanistan several times. His photos captured the city of Kabul and the province Uruzgan as well as remote areas.

“I saw many bad things, but I also saw progress,” he said to Markiza television during his visit in Bratislava.

His exhibition is showing human stories that cannot be seen on television. It was opened by the Dutch prime minister Jan Peter Balkenende on November 12th. Stakelbeek´s photos were already exhibited in Washington, London and Berlin.
