Leadership changeover for Task Force Uruzgan
Brigadier Kees van den Heuvel and Civilian Representative Jennes de Mol have taken over the leadership of Task Force Uruzgan (TFU) from Marc van Uhm and Michel Rentenaar. As commander of TFU VIII and director of the Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT), Van den Heuvel and De Mol will lead the military and civilian personnel posted to the Afghan province for the next six months.

Adopted Haitian children arrive in the Netherlands
Ninety-two adopted Haitian children arrived at Eindhoven military airbase where they were handed over to their new parents. The group left Port-au-Prince on Wednesday night in an aircraft chartered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Consular support team returns from Haiti
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Rapid Deployment Consular Support Team (SCOT) returned on Sunday from Haiti to the Netherlands. The three team members had arrived at the scene of the earthquake within 48 hours.
